Naps

I'm not really sure when kids are supposed to be done with naps; I suppose it just depends on the child. Robbie is not yet 2 1/2, but has started complain about naptime. I kept making him go down anyway, because, as all of you moms out there know--that is OUR time! Well, I finally decided to let him stay awake, and to my dissapointment--he did great...totally happy all day. The next day he was cranky, though, so I made him nap. Day three he wanted to try again, so I ran my errands during what would have been naptime. Well, I was putting the groceries away in the kitchen and I came out to find him like this: asleep standing up. Needless to say, we are keeping naps a while longer!

Peter Pan

Robbie was watching Peter Pan this morning, when he turned to me and said, "Who's Pita?" Wendy's accent confused him so much, he actually thought there were two people: Peter & Pita. I laughed out loud on this one.
