Thanksgiving

Robbie has been learning about Native Americans, so when he told his teacher that his neighbor Carl was not only Cherokee (and fluent in the language) but also the son of a chief (and served as a council member etc.) she was ecstatic! Robbie knocked on Carl's door and invited him himself. Carl came to speak to the entire 2nd grade in his full-regalia. Robbie felt like a champ!

With Rob gone, we headed to Iowa for Thanksgiving with Jaron & Sarah. Dave and Debb came too!

Rob worked in Vegas. He had some cereal with expired milk from the doctors' lounge. So sad!
