SeaWorld!

San Diego + Ty's Birthday = Sea World! It was seriously a PERFECT day! The weather was amazing! When we first got our tickets, the woman helping us said, "Wow, you guys have just been so nice...here's some free tickets to feed the sea lions!"  My mom got us wrist bracelets that allowed us to walk into the restaurants and grab food whenever we wanted...so we didn't have to carry around wallets or water bottles--so fun!

Ty was very skittish and first. The entire first part of the park is interactive! Letting the cleaner fish eat dead skin from your hands...touching sharks and stink rays . . . Ty would have none of it. Then my mom said she'd pay him $7 if he touched the shark. Another $7 to touch the manta ray. Ty's booty was getting pretty impressive, so my mom made a deal with him: She'd buy him a SeaWorld towel to cash in all his "touch" points. Deal! And boy did it pay off! My mom was so drenched after Shipwreck Rapids--her clothes were see-through! So hilarious!!!

Jimmy was big enough to ride almost all the rides. We put him on Atlantis, thinking it would just be the drop, and were VERY surprised when it got intense. Jimmy was NOT happy! He whimpered how it was too scary for him and would never ride it again!

Ty really wanted to try the scariest ride there: Manta! This is him before. He wasn't smiling after! Robbie, on the other hand, was so scared to go on it--almost to the point of tears, but peer-pressure got the better of him (Ty's taunts didn't help), so he got in line. Ironically, Robbie wanted to ride again, and again and Ty was adamant we stay away forever! Go figure!
So we actually got ANOTHER set of free feeding tickets--we must seriously be nice people! The lady at the front gave them to us, and then another worker in the park. It was definitely a perfect day!

I LOVE this picture!!! The trainers asked,"Who wants to get wet!?" and then all kids ran down to the front. After a few splashes, very few kids remained, but Robbie was one of them! (He's the one in the center with his arms raised.)
After the major splashes, the trainer came up and gave him fives for being so awesome and brave!

This picture totally cracks me up! She is totally soaked! Such a good sport!
