Found this baby at a garage sale for $5! A few screws and some spraypaint, and it was as good as new!
Weather can't hold back my boys! Look at those clouds! And yet, they were outside playing soccer. Then the rain started. So they headed to the front for some wet basketball! Love these die-hard athletes!
It was National Ride Your Bike to School day. Ty really wanted to decorate his, but all I had were pink streamers. No problem--he was totally confidant and rode will pink ribbons trailing after him!
Robbie would have rather died. Haha!
Robbie's fantastic teacher, Mrs. Peluso, invited all the moms in for a Mother's Day Tea. The kids created their own skits about moms. This was Robbie's. I was shocked to see how UN-shy he is getting! He was the only one in his group who would talk. They were "aliens" who were in search of the "perfect mom." They made Mommy-meters and they miraculously beeped furiously in front of each of the "aliens" real moms. Super cute!
Jimmy always snuggling!
Robbie hurt his wrist in a soccer game, when a player fouled him, throwing Robbie to the ground, and then stomping on his hand. Nice kid. Anyway, he just wrapped it up, and started ready for baseball. We had a few weeks of crazy. Robbie was playing soccer, and on two baseball teams. Ty was on a soccer and baseball team, and Jimmy was playing soccer. 6 things! Rob was coaching 4 of them!
Love this outfit!
Dillon VonGunten, Ty, and Dylan Parco.
And with sibling support
The boys mow the lawn. Jimmy had full range for a while, but it got, well, chaotic. Since then, he mows in perfect lines, so he's been issued a "section" to mow each week. The boys are great mowers, albeit Robbie complains every time! Jimmy can't seem to think of anything more fun to do, though.

First Tooth!
Ty lost his first tooth! I think it's funny to see my kids' personalities come out when they're in pain. We still laugh thinking about Robbie getting his kindergarten shots. He screamed and kicked and cried BEFORE he was even stuck. It took three of us to hold him down! Ty sat on my lap, blew out his mouth as they stuck him, and never shed a tear or made a peep.
Same with losing teeth. Robbie checks and wiggles and cries and frets (yes, he's just like me, I know!) Rob reasoned with Ty. He told him that it could get infected or he might swallow it. So, Ty said Rob could keep moving it back and forth until he said stop. Then they'd try again. Within 2 minutes, it was out. Three days later, the process was repeated for tooth 2. Love this brave little guy!

More Jimmyisms--love this stage!
Summer has begun. Day one, I come downstairs after taking a shower to find all three boys on the couch eating nachos.
"Nachos aren't for breakfast!" I say.
Jimmy looks up at me completely calm and collected. "Mom, just the cheese is the breakfast."
"Oh," I smile, "And what's the chip?"
"Just leftovers!"
Such a smart little man!
Yesterday we were riding our bikes, when Jimmy says," Remember when I beated Ty down there?"(speaking of a bike race) "That was SO hilarious!" He pauses to chuckle and reminisce. "Mom, what does hilarious mean?"
Jimmy loves pancakes. He can make them himself (along with eggs). One morning, he was stirring his batter when he said, "Mom, this pancake mix is developing very nice." I immediately wrote it down--such a big talker! So cute.
We had some friends over and their little boys had shoes that were too tight. Their oldest son (6) has the same size shoe as Jimmy (4). I explained that it was my dad's fault, who wears a 15.5. I said,"Jimmy has big feet like my dad. He has HUGE feet. They are this big! (I show with my hands). He looks like a clown (sorry dad)."
Jimmy waits a second and says, "I have grandpa's feet? That means I look like a clown, too!"

Temple Run
We were at Robbie's soccer game in the morning, but as it's Ty's favorite thing in the world to run, we had to leave early so Ty could race. This was him last year (dominated, as you see!)
And, here we are with Royal's pitcher, Jeremy Guthrie. So weird that it's my old roommate, Amber's brother! She used to talk about him all the time (before he was big-time).
Jimmy getting pumped for his race, too.
Jimmy ran in the 5 and under division. (He's in red)
LOVE this picture! He took 4th overall! So proud!
And then Ty's race.(He's on the far right in blue)
Needless to say, he whomped on them all again and took first by a landslide!
Jeremy gave Ty a signed ball.

The Eagles
Robbie's Got It
I'm telling you, I am breeding the world's most amazing future husbands! My daughter-in-laws are gonna owe me BIG time! :)
On Mother's Day, the boys wrote 5 things they loved about me. It's obvious by their responses that they are slowly being groomed to perfection, year by year.
Jimmy simply said baseball. (He needs a little more training.)
Ty's were very sweet and thoughful.
1. She tacks good car of me
2.My mom is nis
3.She is thotfl
4. She clis my room
5. My mom heps me.
(He was rushed and under pressure--he is actually a pretty good speller).
Robbie Nailed It.
1. She is nice and kind
2. She does lots of kisses
3. She helps me
(and here is where he starts getting in the zone...)
4. She's beautiful
5. She's skinny
How smart is he!? You can never go wrong with those answers. The babes are gonna go crazy over this guy! "Tell me more, Robbie! Tell me more!"

Jimmyisms
"When I grow up, I want to be a dad. But NOT a married Dad!" Awesome aspirations, right!? He's totally freaked out about marriage. NO, its not because he's seen how I treat Rob and fears for his life, by the way... he says its because "everyone looks at you." I'm guessing he still remembers Aunt Debbie's wedding. :)
"Mom, I have a cold, but it doesn't make me cough...it makes me talk too much!" He's like his mamma. Pretty much everything makes me talk too much, besides sleep!
One evening, we were all outside on the patio playing 20 questions. Once he'd seen enough rounds, he said he was ready to go.
"Is it a person?"
Jimmy: "Nope!"
"An animal?"
"Nope!"
"A place?"
"Nope!"
"A Toy?"
"Nope!"
"A food?"
"Nope"
"Some kind of movie character?"
"Nope"
"A book?"
"Nope"
"Jimmy, do you even know what it is?
"Nope!"
We all busted up laughing...well, except Jimmy!
But, the next round, he nailed it! He chose a platypus and had us stumped!
Jimmy did something he shouldn't, so I told him he had to go inside for a long time. He started crying and said, "Mom! I don't want to stay here till I'm a grandpa!! I don't want to die yet!"
I started busting up laughing!
Ty: "Jimmy, did you sleep well?"
J: "I slept HORRIBLE! My bed...it just so, so...sociaful!" No clue, but sociaful is definitely not a comfortable thing!
