We went our friends/neighbors, the Gilchrists for a yummy fall dinner. Homemade chili dogs and kettle corn. It was awesome!

Garage

Rob likes dreaming and being distracted by projects, so when he found a bunch of paint and primer left in our garage by the people who lived here before, he just HAD to paint our garage with it!

 

He built more little dowel shelves, and we painted little strips of chalkboard on the wall  . . .

Using leftover trim, we framed a square and painted it with chalkboard paint

 

Ahh . . . all organized!

Trunk or Treat

We brought Simon & Dylan--our other "sons" from the neighborhood; they basically live at our house.

 

Visitors!

We never thought the day would come; Kristen swore we were lying when she heard Robert in the background--at OUR house! Yep, Robert, Haley and her girls, Maddie and Lexi, drove all the way from Utah to our sweet ol' Missouri!!!

 

 

I know . . . my boys are a little hammy. :)

 We went to Liberty Jail, Adam Ondi-ahman, and the pumpkin patch!

 

 

Okay, so Robbie only poses with these hilarious expressions now! It's so funny, but so random! Totally shows his personality, though. :)

 

They loved jumping the hay bales!

It was great to have family here! We hope they come again soon!
