Soccer Tourney!

Robbie and Ty competed in their first soccer tournament! It was a 3 v 3 style, with kids coming from four different states and club teams. We had Ty was three years too young for his division, but he's so amazing it didn't matter! He scored and everything! Did we win, no, but it was still fantastic! Robbie had been stung on the bottom of his foot (of all places, right?) the day before--his whole foot was swollen! Still, it made for an amazing Saturday! And that night... we went to our first Sporting KC game! U.S. World Cup players Gragam Zusi and Matt Besler were both there and playing hot against Landon Donavon! So fun!

More Midway

Rob had another hip scope the week before we left, so much of his time was spent laying down and listening to Mistborn, a book by Brandon Sanderson.
The cousins just played. We never had to entertain them.

Oh how we love Grandma's shopping skills!!!

My dad created a theater upstairs for the kids. It was actually pitch-black and looked just like a theater!
My mom always spoils Rob with food--it's like her love language. So . . . she got him his Henry Weinharts, Australian licorice, and, as always... Oreos.

My parents got presents for all of the kids, but to get them, they had to go "fishing" with the "Captain"!

And . . . then there was the Strawberry Days Rodeo--or something like that. As always--great fun! Aricka got us strawberries and cream--I was not expecting it to be that great, but it was AMAZING! Who doesn't love a good Rodeo!?
