Jimmy Random

On our way home from Utah, Jimmy started throwing up and fevering. His lymph nodes got HUGE! So much so, that he couldn't move his neck or relax his shoulders. He ended up having strep and a virus. Poor guy!

Robbie

Robbie is a great example. He wrote this poem about himself and said proudly that he was a Mormon. Everyone kept asking why he'd written he was a moron--poor kid! For his I Have A Dream wish for his family, he wrote, "To be with them forever!" I read the other kids'. Most common, "Stop fighting with each other." He's a big-picture guy!

Learning to snowboard down our neighbor's hill

For Family Home Evening, I had the kids write a kind letter to someone to let them know you care about them. This was Robbie's letter:
Ha! I think being "Dudish" is like a big compliment!

He's going to be playing machine and kid-pitch baseball this season. Rob taught him a 2-seam and 4-seam fastball. He's nothing short of AMAZING! We have a practice net he aims at (about 6 inch square maybe 30 feet away). Robbie nails it EVERY time, and he pitches ridiculously fast! (It even hurts Rob's hand!) So, the kid has MAJOR potential, but since he IS so good, Rob won't let him pitch much yet. He said it will ruin his arm for the future. But...the raw talent will be waiting!

This Kid!

Ty is such a HILARIOUS and unique little guy! He makes me laugh (though to be honest, almost all of his jokes have to deal with something perverted or gross. He's in the toot-bum stage.)

Here's a few moments I caught of him.

He took all the pillows in the house and made a "mattress" on the floor to make the "Ultimate Soft and Comfy Bed."
For the 100th day of school, he had to create something showing 100 items. He made this 100-eyed monster.
And, he dressed up like he was 100 years old.
I found him outside like this. He thinks lounging with a drink is the best thing ever... and, well, he's pretty much right! (yes, he posed himself!)

He came downstairs with a SERIOUS ghetto booty! Balloons, people! So funny! He had him in his shirt the first time, thinking that was pretty great, too, but we told him it wasn't really appropriate; plus, it makes mommy jealous! ;)

Skiing at Snow Creek

We went twice this season, both times amazing! Jimmy no longer needs a rope and can ski down EVERY run by himself. He can turn and stop (by snowplow only) and has perfect control! Its amazing what happens when you teach them young! We call skied together--so great! Th is is him at the beginning of the day--getting him comfortable off the rope. He advanced to the steep, fast slopes within and hour.

Yes, Robbie is trying to practice his backwards turns! Haha!
