Ice Blocking at Arroyo Verde

Sister races. Just for the record, Aricka drilled me, but it was still fun.
Ty and Aunt Aricka. Ty loved it until we ate it on one run--but it was blast until the crash!
Robbie looked forward to going all week. He started out slowly...
. . . started catching some speed doing doubles . . .
And finally went all out. It was a great family outing--it brought back a million childhood memories.

Underwood Family Farm

Today we discovered the most darling farm in Moorpark. It's only $3 to get in, and you can feed the animals, see their puppet shows, play at a playground, and then pick your own produce. It was so charming!

Strawberries
Raspberries
King of the Hay Hill
Feeding the llamas with Grandma
And the perfect mode of transportation: the wood wagon! (Mom, Aricka, Ty, & Robbie)
It was so yummy; I can't wait to go back!

Ventura County Fair

We went to the fair today with the Harps and my mom (grandma Wilde). After two hours, they were DONE!!! This is not a posed picture--they are both asleep.

Robbie begged to go on this slide, but once we got to the top and the Carni said he could't have the purple lane (since I had to be in it with Ty) it was a meltdown the whole way down. Oh well.
Checking out the potential rides with Great-Grandma Harp
Ty actually liked this ride, but--it's Ty--getting a smile is like torture. He was so brave and rode all alone. He always gravitated toward the bigger rides, no fear at all.
We went to a little gym by my parent's house yesterday, too. The boys loved it! (Well, not the actual "class" part, but the free time at least.)

Pier and Park

Okay, this doesn't have anything to do with the pier, but I am just so glad I caught it on camera.
I'm back in Ventura again, but just alone! Rob's doing another out-rotation so I decided to cool off in California. We went to the pier on Saturday--everyone was crab fishing, so the boys were thrilled. There was the coolest little park on the beach next to it, too. The boys were sad we had to go to In-N-Out!
