Disneyland

(I'm a little late catching up on all these California posts, but still . . .)
The happiest place on earth--for kids! I really wanted to go while everything was all Christmassy, but everyone else had the same idea. Even the Dumbo ride had a 30 minute wait. Rob kept joking that it was the only place that kids were extatic while their parents were having aneurisms! :) Still, I'd go back tomorrow (if Ty and Seth swore not to escape into the crowd and get lost--yeah, total panic for about 20 seconds before Jaron and Rob found them eating fishies by some ride) just for the pure joy on the kids' faces! Robbie braved Splash Mountian and Ty begged to go on everything (but was still too small for the "good" rides). Both of their favorites was the Buzz Lightyear ride, though Autopia and the rocket one (Ty kept saying, "I'm flying like Spiderman!") had to be close seconds. Robbie, Emma, and Mary waited in line for the Go Coaster for an hour--I thought it looked a little reckless and intense for them, but Rob caught it on film and it was absolutlely hilarious! They were perfectly BLISSFUL! So cute. Great memory!

We did Disneyland last Christmas. Yeah it was crazy, but well worth it for the kids. They still talk about Disneyland at least weekly here. We may try and go this summer before moving to Tacoma.
