Moment

Robbie scored 5 goals in the game. 16 goals in three games. He's on fire.

But the real intent of this post is tell the cutest moment ever! Well, a couple. Robbie prayed for the "black team" before the game, asking Heavenly Father to help them play well and not get hurt. I thought that was sweet.  But . . .

Ty plays soccer by basically running in circles; he's getting better, but sometimes he just gets bored or doesn't want to really get in there only to get trampled. (I make hims sound ridiculous, but he actually is super fast and an excellent ball handler--he's just young and small compared to the 6-year-olds!) So last game, he took it upon himself to be the goalie. Mind you, there really aren't goalies at this point, but Ty was ready to save the day. The ball was on the other side of the field, and though we all screamed for him to get to the ball, he stayed put in the goal. And finally, his time came. The other team got past everyone in our swarm and headed right to him. His feet were firmly planted, legs far apart, eyes intense and then the kick . . . right through his legs! It was so darling everyone started to chuckle! I love sports!
