Adam Rosales!

When we were in Kalamazoo, we had a friend, Adam Rosales, who played baseball for Western. He and Rob bonded as the only two LDS athletes at school. We would pick him up for church and go to his games--super nice kid from Chicago. Anyway, we lost contact. In July, I got an email from Adam. He'd been looking for us for years, and finally got my email. He just wanted to let us know what a positive influence we had had on him in Kalamazoo and how he had looked up to us and our spiritual strength. He since had made it to the pros (which we knew from ESPN) and had gotten married in the temple and had a baby girl! Best part: he was coming to KC to play the Royals and we got to see him!

Here's Rob showing Adam Robbie's swing--just to get a professional opinion! Haha!

We took the kids out of school to head to BP (batting practice). We got to be right down on the field with only the players and press! Amazing!
Manager Yost shook each of our hands. The players would roll the boys balls. . .

How may kids can write their name in the clay of a major league baseball field!?

This is the guy from Field of Dreams!

Adam at bat! So fuN!
