Boyisms

JIMMY
Jimmy had an epiphany the other day. He was snacking on some peanuts when suddenly he says, "Mom! There's peanut butter in these!" Genius!

Jimmy was begging for a donut. "Jimmy, donuts aren't good for you," I said. His whole face looked simply wretched! "But Mom, I'm SO hungry for junk!" We all are child; we all are!

"Mom, you know those things you put on every morning? You know, the things that make you look bigger--make your shirt bigger? Why do you put those on?" Nice. It really must be time for me to go back to training bras!

TY
Rob was doing Father's Interviews one Sunday. Robbie's must have gone for 10-15 minutes. Ty was in and out in 5. "Dude, Ty, why was yours so short?" Robbie asked. "It's because I don't have any problems!" Ty bragged. So funny!

ROBBIE
I got this email from Robbie's teacher, Miss Finkle:
"Had to share a funny Robbie story today- We are discussing the Declaration of Independence, Revolutionary War, etc. While reading a book to the class, it mentioned Paul Revere telling them the British were coming on April 18, 1775. I added in “Hey, that’s my birthday!” Robbie looked very puzzled, raised his hand and says, “Wow, you were born in 1775?!” Had to laugh, and mention how young I look for my age for being over 300 years old! :)"

Rob and I couldn't tell if we should be laughing because he is so clever and funny or cry because, well...he really wasn't sure if that was her birthday!
