Rob had the great idea to have a pancake breakfast at our house. Well, I can't seem to reign in my inner party-animal, so fifty people came! What a party! We had two tarps and tent up, three tables of food, and a play land of fun. We had the slip 'n' slide going, a football and soccer game, and balls and tunnels everywhere.
Then I made a delicious and beautiful trifle!
Then the boys watched a little Transformers--Rob still cries every time!
Then we went to some friends' house for a BBQ and some fireworks!
And back home for some more. We were up until 10 on our deck watching the amazing stadium fireworks that people were lighting in our yards. Chinese lanterns were floating in our yard--it was just like Tangled!

What a fun party! 50 people, wowwy!!! It looks like such a great holiday celebration all day long.
